Rough Sawn Board & Batten: 2010 New Arrival!

Board and Batten is an exterior siding or interior paneling that has alternating wideplank boards and narrow wooden strips, called battens. The boards are usually twelve inches (12") wide. The battens are usually (but not always) about one and one-quarter (1-1/4") inch wide. The battens are placed over the seams between the wideplank boards.

Pre-Staining comprises of 10 X "Vertical Brush Staining" and Superior Bonding by SOAKING a high quality Translucent Penetrating Stain by Flood-Coating the face by Hand "On-The-Flat" to produce a thick Rock-Pine surface. This process is done in temperature-controlled and ventilated indoor conditions. Then, it is done again, a second (2X) time, to provide a "WeatherCoat" and bring the siding To Life!  It is time-consuming and labour-intensive work that is designed to provide you with my expertise and save you Space, Time, Money and Frustration!

Half (50%) of my On-Site Consultation Service Fee is credited to either your Full Installation job or your DIY: Do it Yourself/Contractor Lumber Supply order. Unlimited "Telephone Advisory Guidance" is available thru job completion and beyond. Full Installations: Lower Deposit* & Longer Pre-Payment Schedule

~ 10% Deposit (my office will certify Deposit Cheque —at my expense— in order to Reserve your Commencement Date.)
~ 25% via Post-dated Cheque payable six (6) weeks prior to the commencement date.

~ 60% via Post-dated Cheque payable fourteen (14) days prior to the commencement date.

~ 5% ‘Hold Back' via Post-dated Cheque payable (10) Days after the prescheduled/tentative completion date.

All payments are made payable to: A. Marreed & D. Prestman 'Distressed' Pine Flooring Inc.

"Final Billing" will apply to orders* in accordance with these standard T & C.

* Due to Just-in-Time (JUT) scheduling, a Verbal Order can not be placed "On Hold" beyond the "Valid Quotation" ten (10) day "Courtesy Hold Period" indicated on your quotation. Nor, is 'today's price' confirmed ... until a deposit, via (uncertified) Personal Cheque, is "cleared".

1. Final Billing is presented when Final Cost is determined with the amount payable "upon demand" and prior to Job Completion.
2. Each flooring project is measured before job commencement and after rough installation to allow for a Job Variable Charge (maximum +/- 5%)  or, a Job Variable Rebate (+/- 5%), based on the actual square footage installed and finished in accordance with your initial order.

"Should you require "special consideration" or "extended payment terms" these options may be considered, upon request. If you are planning new construction under a "Builder's Loan" and require a more flexible payment schedule, your request may be accommodated based on "Pre-Approved Funding" and/or a Personal Guarantee."

DIY'ers required the knowledge, time and skill required to install a T&G (tongue & groove) floor. A local tradesman with such qualifications is often feasible and practical and/or you can request to work in association with my Fee-Based Advisory Service.
