Due to the power of The Web, Marreed-Prestman — Pineflooring.ca — is no longer able to accommodate the demand and disruption to create, package and ship Complimentary CUSTOM Samples, thus, this practice has been discontinued, except as follows:

1. I have Standard samples to view, in the form of a small mobile showroom. Standard Samples may be made available to informed prospective clients within Southern, Central, Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec — in combination with an On-Site Consultation (Service Fee Basis).

2. If you live a great distance from my trading zone and wish to place your order "Catalogue-Style" (with Deposit)... based on the size/style/colour choices as displayed on my web pages — trusting, of course, on my artistic integrity and long-standing reputation — I may accept your order (with deposit) based on your 100% Satisfaction of your CUSTOM SAMPLE which is prepared and shipped to you immediately "For Approval", without charge.

3. Alternately, you may custom-order custom samples prepared and shipped to you upon demand — without an On-Site Consultation and without placing an order — @ $ 50.00 per Custom Sample.

4. Concierge Service is available On Demand for commercial projects — in combination with an On-Site Consultation (Service Fee Basis).

It is important to note that floors viewed on my website are photographed when they are freshly installed ... they will look and ‘feel’ warm in less than a year. New floors look almost white in colour (in the unstained and bleached areas) and appear with high contrast ... in six to eight months the lighter wood-coloured surfaces will start to take on a Golden-Amber patina due to the effect of UVLight rays ... the aged look and warmer 'feel' Clients value. After the time transition Red Pine flooring looks rich and vibrant yet, ‘old world’ ... unlike manufactured woods, Red Pine is a natural product that has a calming effect on people.

View Feature Home for a fair representation of what the "light-coloured" areas of the wood floor will eventually become. Should you not want the colour of the wood to change to Golden-Amber then, UV-blocking topcoats will be required upon finishing.
